Outlook or Act?

Hello,

I have Outlook 2003 installed...I am wondering if I have
a setting wrong. When I am entering or editing a Contact
from an open Contact Window how come when I add a Note or
Journal Entry it is not automatically attached to that
contact? It seems that I have to "manually" link that
Note or Journal Entry to that contact even though it was
entered from their open window? Seems like it should
automatically connect it to that contact? It seems
very "manual." What am I missing? I like to take short
notes on meetings that I have had or phone calls I have
made. Any ideas? Any other suggestions?

Yes....What would you do if you want to add a note or
journal entry to a contact. I double click on the
contact to open the Contact Form and then go to
New...Note..or Journal Entry...But when I add one of
these it does not automatically link it to this
contact...It does not show up in the Activity area until
I manually link it by selecting the Contact to link it
to...I would expect that If I add a note from the Contact
Form that it would add it to the current contact...I
should not have to manually link it to that Contact
also...Is this true? I would love to add a simple button
at the bottom of the standard Contact Form..."Insert
Journal Entry for this Contact"...any ideas?
thx for the hand...

Did you check on the Activites page? That's where items linked to the
current contact will be listed.
