Outlook or Exchange to use away messages?

We have an inbox '(e-mail address removed)' that we want to generate and auto-reply
messge. Does this get configured in outlook or exchange? I looked all over
exchange and couldnt find anything...

Since you have Exchange, in Outlook click Tools>Out of Office Assistant.
