Wayne Brown
OS: XP SP2
Problem started on 9/21/07 using Outlook 2003. Upgraded to Outlook 2007,
same problem.
When sending a new message or forwarding a message to another address,
message goes to outbox and will not finish sending. Eventually get
0x8004210b error.
Set up new user account, tested settings, sends test message okay and it is
received. New and forwarded messages get stuck in outbox.
Sent message to this computer from outside requesting read receipt. Read
receipt is accepted and sends out receipt okay.
Installed Outlook Express 6, it works fine and is what I am on to send this.
Set up new account for user on another computer on network using Outlook
2003. Works fine.
Turned off firewall and uninstalled AVG free so currently have no antivirus
or firewall active.
I can delete messages in the outbox in offline mode, switch to online, and
send receive reports completion okay until I try to send or forward a
message.
Problem seems to be specifically isolated to this computer and to Outlook.
Ideas? Thanks
