Outlook & Outlook Express e-mail

Several people on our network suddenly lost e-mail send
and receive message can not find server. No viruses on
PC. They all have internet access.
I have uninstalled both antivirus and Office and
reinstalled. The same problem. Something in Windows must
have been over written does anyone know what it could be/
