Outlook - Outlook Express

I have outlook installed but prefer the simplicity of Outlook Express;
however Outlook will not let me have OE as my main mail facility and
constantly nags me to go back to Outlook, even when I 'uninstalled' Outlook
I got the nagging screens. Can any one help?
