Outlook passwords

I enter password info in email account set up, instruct
the program to remember them, but when I go to
send/receive, I keep having to enter the PW's and they
are not retaing as defaults in the account settings.

There have been several issues with passwords not being retained with
Outlook. Here are some of the known solutions:

For Outlook 2000 or 2002 on Win 98, NT, or 2000:
