Outlook PCS Contact Sync

I recently installed Office XP on my computer from
Office 2000. I now show both in my Add/Remove programs
list. I am trying to re-install the PCS Sync program for
my contact to my pocketPC. It will install and un
install, but Outlook shows the little Icon in the tool
bar for it both ways. It doesn't work either way. How
do I remove it completely. I cannot find where outlook
is storing the information that it is installed.
