Windows 98SE. When I click on Outlook icon on desk top, the program begins to open and then displays an error message which says, "This program has performed an illegal operation." When I click on the "Details" button, I get the following message. "Outlook caused an invalid page fault in module MSVCRT.DLL at 018f78010660

Registers: etc

I checked the Knowledge Base Article 264258 and tried to run Nfclean.exe, but nothing happened. I even made sure nfclean.exe was in directory Program Files/Microsoft Office/Office/1033

I still get the same error. Any ideas will be appreciated

its
file name extension to ".old" (without the quotation marks), and then press
ENTER.
