Outlook POP3 account

With my Pop3 account Outlook shows that it is downloading messages from
server and working properly when test used but it does not save the message
in Outlook. Any ideas?

Are you filtering your view of Outlook?

What version of Outlook?

Do you have rules moving messages out of the Inbox? Alternately are the
messages being move to the Junk E-mail folder?

No and No, it is wierd, I can not see what is happening to the emails once
they are downloaded and when I test the settings they test fine.

I am not filtering any view and the Outlook is 2003.

What happens if you open Outlook in safe mode?

Start > Run > outlook.exe /safe (note the space between outlook.exe and
/safe)

If you use Vista, it's Start > Start Search > outlook.exe /safe (if I
remember correctly)
