Here is the situation:
We do not use Active Directory, we use Samba 3 w/ LDAP
We do not use Exchange Server, we use a POP3 service (actually two of
them)
We are in the middle of migrating from one POP3 server to another.
After we migrate, we are going to implement Bynari Insight connector so
we can have an Exchange-like experience for our users. I have a Perl
script that automatically generates a PRF for every user when they log
in, and I am going to have a KiXtart script set the registry to have
outlook use this.
The problem is, I need for these account to be the only accounts, even
if an account with the same name exists, I need for it to overwrite.
The problem is, there are existing account names that are similar...
and it is not overwriting. Is there some setting in the PRF for this?
At one time I found documentation pertaining Internet Mail account
settings for PRFs, but I can no longer find it.
Thanks,
Dustin A. Dortch
