Outlook Problem Finding PDF Files

Having loaded Adobe 6.0 reader, I can open PDF files on my desktop and elsewhere in the file system. However, when I try accessing a PDF document that's enclosed in an email in Outlook 2003, instead of rendering the PDF, I get an error saying "The system cannot find the file specified". I've already run a repair on Outlook and removed and reloaded Adobe reader to no avail. Any ideas are appreciated.
