Outlook problem

Hi
New to this community
I need a bit of help
I run a 3yo IBM laptop with XP
I had Office 2003 I think? but it became infected and I was advised to
delete it
As I did not have the original cd's for it I ended up buying Office 2007
Home & Student version
Therein lies the problem. I cannot seem to find Outlook and as that was what
I used for my email. I am currently having to access Yahoo web formail but my
address book isn't there it was in Outlook
So, how do I get outlook back
Thanks

Either buy Outlook 2007 as it doesn't come with Home and Student or use
a program like Thunderbird which is free and can be gotten at
http://www.mozilla.com/thunderbird.

Hardly an Outlook replacement.

Never said it was but I will say it may do very well for most people as
most people don't use all the features of Outlook.

Then why not recommend Outlook Express or Windows Mail or Windows Live Mail
or...

One at a time:

Outlook Express:

1. More difficult to back up than T-Bird
2. No junk filter
3. No real time spell checker.
4. It's made by Microsoft :)

Windows Mail

1. More difficult to back up than T-Bird
2. No more support from Microsoft

Windows Live Mail

1. More difficult to back up than T-Bird.
2. It's made by Microsoft.

That said, in my original post I wrote and I quote: "a program *like*
Thunderbird".
