Outlook problem...

I get a message "The operation failed. An object could not be found." when
I enter outlook and try to send or receive e-mail.

Andreas,

I get the same error message "The Operation Failed" when I double-click on
the Outlook icon (it seems to get in, I can see my folders, messages but then
I get the error message).

When I double click on the Mail icon in Control Panel to create a new
profile, I get an hourglas for about 1 second and then nothing. I wait and
wait, but nothing comes up.

Any suggestions?
