outlook problems after beta installation

I installed Office Beta and my computer crashed within a week. I reinstalled
Office 2003 but am now unable to open Outlook 2003. I get an error -
MAPI32.DLL is corrupt or the wrong version. I have read and applied answers
numerous posts regarding this problems but so far none have helped. It
appears that when I reinstall Outlook 2003 the MAPI32 files are not
reinstalled. I have run the repairs under Add/Remove Programs and used
fixmapi.exe but nothing has helped. I would greatly appreciate help as I
have been tackling this for over a week.

You have two options (both after removing Outlook 2003): Either boot
Windows in safe mode and see if you manage to delete all MAPI32 related
files manually. Search for posts giving you more details on that. Or
reinstall Outlook 2007, reboot, remove Outlook 2007, reboot, reinstall
Outlook 2003 (that might work as well).

OK maybe this will work now. Thanks alot for your help. As I stated in the
email I sent you I have tried both options with no success. When I boot up
in safe mode it stalls at the password. The cursor blinks but the mouse and
the keyboard do not work and I have to do a hard shutdown.

I have reinstalled, etc many times in the order you have stated but that
hasn't worked either. Any other options?
