I have been using MS OFFICE 2003 SP3 on this computer with VISTA HOME PREMIUM
for the past 16 months with no problem, but now I am having these problems. I
need some help and I am not much of a tech.
When I start OUTLOOK I get this message:
The server that you are connected to is using a security certificate that
could not be verified. The certificate's CN name does not match the passed
value. Do you want to continue using this server?
When I click on any (URL) link in OFFICE OUTLOOK or WORD I get this message:
This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this
computer. Pleae contact your system administrator.
I am the administrator and I have no idea why this is happening?
I am also getting the message 'outlook is syncronizing folders"
I have gone to HELP and done the detect and repair and it seems to do a re
install and it is successful but it does not fix these problems. I did not
select either of the detect and repair options because I think it would mean
having to set up all my POP accounts again and maybe losing all my mail? I am
not sure about this? I don't know waht logging is exactly except that it has
something to do with troubleshooting so I have enabled it, but it has done
nothing so far as I know? Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated.
