When I used Outlook for the first times, I got a reminder of new mail at
once, but now I need to click on a mail in outlook or switch to contacs etc.
to see if I got a new mail.

Why is it like this?

What can I do to get my old fast outlook back?

This is really enoying so I really need help.

/regards Fallis

I believe that you have to go into your tools --- then options ---- then press on the General Tab. Make sure that the first one is check marked. The one that states to open INBOX when you start up Outlook Express. If that doesn't solve your problem then email me again. I may be able to help you.

I have this problem in Outlook 2002.

I'm responsible for 20 computers in my company, there is about 10 cpus that
are running Outlook/Office 2000 and all of them works fine with outlook, the
rest of the computers are running Outlook 2002 and they are all fully
updated and 4 of them has this problem. Two of the computers with this
problem runs under Win 2000 and the other two runs under Win XP pro

My question is:

Can I find any settings that will correct this problem?

/regards Fallis
