Outlook Problms, NO MAIL

Ok, I am running Vista, and installed Microsoft Office well over 90 days ago.
Had no problems in the beginning. I have NOT installed any new programs
since. Now the problems are as follows.
1) when trying to send email I get, "Operation failed, Object Not found" or
"Out of Memory or Resources not found".
2) I am not getting my msn mail at all.
3) I have searched and read some ideas about deleting outlook and
redownloading it, tried that and still no luck.
Any suggestions? I am not really a computer guru, so if any answers,
please try in english.

Undoubtedly, that's the problem. Norton is just about NOT compatible with
anything. If you have is set to scan email, you're currently seeing the
results of that setting. I would normally suggest disabling the email
scanning part of Norton, however, that only works once in while. You would
be best served by eliminating Norton altogether, getting a compatible AV
package like Avast! or AVG, and installing it WITHOUT the email scanning
module. Email AV scanning does nothing more than interfere with email flow,
regardless of who's program you use, it does NOT add any additional
protection. The resident part of the AV system is all you need because
ANYTHING you do with an email or attachment, open it, save it, etc. causes
it to be written to a temporary location on your hard drive; when this
happens, the resident AV module will scan it and KILL it if its something
bad.
