Outlook profile doubled

I have a strange issue that is recurring more often on several machines.

Environment:

Windows XP SP2 English
Office2003 SP2 Italian

Issue:

I find on several machine both "Posta in
arrivo"(Italian) and "Inbox"(English). This is because the Exchange mailbox
si loaded two times, so I view all folders doubled.

Question:

How can I clean this programmatically or at least is a
easier way than deleting and recreating the whole profile ?
