Outlook prompting for credentials

I have OfficeXP installed on Windows XP. Every time I try
to connect to an end user e-mail account on our exchange
server, I get a prompt for NT domain credentials.

I have tried unjoining and rejoining the domain, I have
completely removed and reinstalled officeXP, including
all SPs and patches. XP has all patches installed. I have
verified registry entries per KB article 321652. I have
used netshell to reset TCP/IP to defaults.

Anything else I can try before I start reinstalling the
entire system?

Check your mail settings for the profile being used. In
the properties for the profile being used, select E-Mail
accunts. Select View or change existing e-mail accounts
and click next. Select Change for the Microsoft Exchange
server and then more settings. On the Advanced tab near
the bottom, you should be able to changethe typ of logon
security you want to use. You should only be able to
access the mailbox in this manner if the mailbox is
assigned to you or if you have the user's name and NT
password.

No luck. Still getting prompted for credentials whenever
I try to connect to the exchange server.
