outlook pst issue

I can not access the personal folder where my calendar and saved emails are.
AT first, Outlook would not launch. I somehow changed the personal folder
(there seem to be three of them but the one I need is damaged)and now it
launches but not with any of my info. I tried to sync my pda to restore the
data and all of the data got sucked out of my pda to who knows where. Now I
have no calendar, contacts, emails...I am trying to use scanpst.exe to repair
and it tells me that C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\MSMAPI\1033 is a
directory and not a full path. I do not know enough to figure out what to do
instead.

When/where do you get that error - just when you launch the Inbox Repair
Tool, or when you specify the PST file?

The inbox repair tool launches, I type in this location and then the error
message pops up

You have to type (or browse to) the full path and file name of your PST
file. Where is your PST file located?
