I have a customer that purchased a new PC and wants to
move his outlook.pst file. He doesn't have the
outlook.pst file but afile called archive.pst which he
has been using with his Internet email. No problem
moving, but on the new PC (with Outlook XP, old PC had
OL2K), he can only see data prior to 2003. His current
data is not visible as it is on the old. I need some
ideas on how to fix this. Please help.

Look for more .pst files on his machine: File | Data File Management.

Thanks for the response Sue. It appears that he has been
using the called archive.pst. I didn't find any others on
his PC. I used Start | Search, *.pst and under advanced
selected "Search System folders" and "Search hidden files
and folders".

Yes. The only file there is the archive.pst and that's
the file he uses on his old PC. (I did find 2 other
outlook.pst files in different user profiles, but they
were 48kb each.)

Is that his default data store?

ALso, when you run Outlook on his old PC, does he see all his data? If so, check the properties of that store.
