one user of outlook 2k3 is having problem with closing pst file that she
opened previously from file menu. That pst file is not in the OutLook Mail
profile. The other pst file she opened from file menu can be closed and
opened without any trouble. Actually some of the pst files can be expanded
and contents viewed.
The error message for trying to close the folder is
The Operation failed. An Object could not be found
pstscan repair on the primary pst file had no effect on the problem.
Tried searching solution on the web but no luck so far . There are other
user with similar problem on different pst files. I heard one way to create
new profile. I don't relish that because they all have quite a few accounts
and must be named exactly as the same before.
by the way, where can I find documentation in the registry
"HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\Windows Messaging Subsystem\Profiles". The information on
the profiles used there does not seem comprehensible to me.
