Outlook.pst

I'm using Outlook 2003 and Windows XP Pro. I have these 2 files on my C: drive\Local Settings\Appl. Data\Micros.\Outlook:

outlook.pst - 1,918,545 KB
Personal Folder.pst - 678,545 KB

I cannot make changes in my address book because "it has reached it's max size...you should consider using the new Outlook personal File Foler file (.pst) that provides greater capacity for storing items"

I wnet into Outlook and directed it use the Personal File. But I ran into the same error message. I am now stumped.

Help?

Your "address book" doesn't contain any data so what you say can't be true.
However, it might be true of the entire PST and the one named outlook.pst is
at the limit. So why not create a new one in the new Unicode format (that
Outlook 2003 will use by default) and copy everything from the old too-large
PST to the new one? It can grow to 20GB then.
