Outlook pwa add-in

I have seen similar postings for my problem but not yet seen a solution.

I am trying to reinstall the pwa add-in to Outlook. The installation says
it is successful but the toolbar does not appear in Outlook, nor the pwa tab
on the Options dialog. The add-in is not listed either under Trust Center
Add-ins.

I have tried uninstalling the add-in through Add/Remove Programs, also
manually deleting the project add-in registry entries remaining after the
uninstall.

Any ideas?

History:

I was pleasantly suprised how simple Project Server 2007 was to install and
setup and to get working with Outlook and had been trialling it for a few
weeks before company wide roll-out when the following error message occurred
when clicking the Update Project Web Access button in Outlook.

"Please reload the project Add-in for Outlook by clicking Trust Center on
the Tools menu. From there, click Add-ins, and then Go under Manage COM
Add-ins...If this does not resolve the issue, you may need to repair or
reinstall the add-in via Add or Remove Programs from the Control Panel."

Followed by:
"Run-time error '91':
Component: PSComAddin.cls
Procedure: Convert2Assignment
Error Number: 91
Error Source: MPSInt12
Error Description: Object variable or With block variable not set"

plus another lengthyerror msg after this

I've not seen this issue, worth installing SP1 as it resolved some Outlook
add-in issues.
Com add-ins installl differently to normal programs, so things like menu
bars are not removed when you uninstall them, so they can be difficult to
troubleshoot unlesss you are famaliar with them.

I already had SP1 installed for Office 2007. I also installed SP1 for
Project Server 2007 since my last post (not expectig that to do anything but
hey!)

I have also performed two Office repairs over the past week.

Any other options available to me? We are out of ideas here!!!

I suppose I could uninstall/reinstall Outlook but if we can't rectify this
problem when it occurs then I will not be popular in the future if everyone
needs to go through this process. Another PC we were trialling on also had
problems when using the Outlook pwa buttons so we assume something within
pwa/Project Server triggered this whole thing.
