Outlook + Reading Pane Problem

Hello All,

Fired up Outlook this morning to find the reading pane gone. Checked under
the veiw menu, and the reading pane option is completley greyed out. Makes
it kinda touch to turn on LOL. If anyone has any ideas on why its greyed
out, or how to fix it please post.

All accounts are working fine. It is Outlook 2007. And it happened out of
the blue...everything seems to be working just fine, with the execption that
the reading pane is no longer active, and that it can not be turned back on.

I have the same problem. After a crash Outlook 2007 lost the reading pane.
Changing reading pane settings via "other settings" dialog doesn't work. Does
anyone know how the reading pane works and why changing the settings has no
effect? Any MS support people reading this newsgroup?

I'm having hte same problem - evertyhgin else works fine. Happended after a
Outlook crash
