I am looking for a newsgroup where I can get help solving these problems
after re-installing OfficeXP following hard drive failure:
1. I have set Outlook to open to "Outlook Today." When I click on "Inbox"
under "Messages" on the Outlook Today screen, I get a screen with the
message "Unable to display folder. Microsoft Outlook could not access this
specified folder location." This seems to be caused by a minor typographical
error in the address associated with the "Inbox" link. How does one
permanently correct the address associated with Outlook Today's "Inbox"
link?
2. Under both Calendar and Tasks, the calendars used to input dates will not
remain open when the mouse pointer is moved from the calendar drop-down
control to the face of the calendar unless one holds down the left mouse
button. The calendars close when the left mouse button is released, hence
one can not change the month showing on a calendar! Any ideas about the
cause and/or correction for this problem?
If nothing else, please direct me to a newsgroup where I could get help. I
tried "outlook.general" and got no replies.
