When I start Outlook 2002 I get an error message "Cannot start Microsoft
Outlook. Outlook requires Microsoft Outlook Express 4.01 or greater."
My computer has Outlook Express 6 and Internet Explorer 7, both of which
seem to operate fine. All the other Office 2002 programs start without a
problem.
This is happening on a machine with XP Home SP2.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled Office 2002. I have reinstalled IE7. I
have removed and added IE and Office Express on the add/remove Windows
components page on the Control Panel.
I saw that there was another thread reporting similar problems, but no
solution offered there.
