Heres the sad story. I've got/had a corporate version of Office XP loaded on
my machine at work. I've just recently bought a PDA phone that came with a
copy Outlook 2002 so I thought I'd install it. Now when I try to start
Outlook I get "Cannot start Microsoft Outlook. Outlook requires Outlook
Express 4.01 or greater. I'm using Outlook Express 6 to write this message
so I think I should be ok. I guess upgrading from Corporate to Personal is a
BAD thing. I've tried deinstalling Office XP and my Outlook 2002, searching
thru the registry for every occurrence of Office or Outlook and deleting it.
Just reinstalling Office XP from our server.(no joy) Deleting Office XP
cleaning registry and just installing Outlook 2002 but still no joy. Does
anyone know the file(s) or registry entries I need to zap to get Outlook
working again. Please Please Please don't say I need a clean install of XP.
XP Pro SP2 BTW
