Outlook resolves to old e-mail address not new

J

John M.

I have an Outlook 2000 user that has updated an e-mail
address in his primary, and only, contacts folder.
Whenever he types the contact name in a new e-mail message
Outlook resolves the e-mail address as the old one. Where
would this old e-mail address be coming from and how can I
get rid of it?
Thanks,
John

P.S. We have a global address list but the contact is not
listed in there, she has an external account.
