Outlook reverts to old signature blocks

I have several users (6 or 7 out of 300) who are complaining that their
Outlook 2003 keeps reverting to older versions of their signature.

We are using Exchange 2003 on a Windows 2003 AD network. The workstations
are running Windows XP and Office 2003 (both patched up to date - except that
XP SP2 has not been loaded). We use roaming profiles and have verified that
the current profile is downloading when the affected users log in.

What is causing this and how can I resolve this issue?

This is an auto text issue - the old signature is recorded in the auto
text fill fields. (I spent hours trying to work out why it was
happening to me).
I found the solution in MS Word Help, create or change auto text entry.

FWIW, that would have to be a really, really old signature, since Outlook hasn't kept signatures in AutoText since Outlook 2000. In any case, Outlook 2003 doesn't use AutoText for signatures. It uses separate files; see http://www.slipstick.com/config/backup.htm for locations.

Maybe Mike's users' signatures are not copying down into the roaming profile folders?

That's what confused me, however, I had moved from outlook 2000 to XP
to 2003. I only identified I had a problem when we had a phone number
change, and some of my contacts advised me that my signature needed
updating - I was surprised, as I had updated it in my signature, and
double checked, however, if I started to type my name at the end of an
e-mail, auto text would come into play, and there would be my old
signature?
I just checked what was listed in auto text, and deleted it. I also
'turned on' my signature to new and forwarding/reply e-mails.
Mike might want to check to see if his people have actually set
signatures to appear in their e-mails and aren't making the same
mistake I did - I suspect if it was a roaming profile issue, there
would be other 'hints' to the problem.
Oh, and when I have an outlook problem, slipstick.com is the first site
