BLANK JUNK MAIL RECEIVED - CREATE RULE

I NEED TO CREATE A RULE FOR SENT MAIL, BUT FOR THAT, I NEED TO HAVE AN OPTION
AS TO "FROM FOLDER" ; THIS IN ORDER TO REFER TO THE SENT FOLDER, AFTER
RECEIPT, AND THEN I ALSO NEED AN OPTION FOR MOVING TO A PARTICULAR USER
CREATED FOLDER. EXAMPLE: HAVE SENT MAIL TO "DAVID" ; I NOW WANT THE MAIL
SENT TO DAVID, MOVED TO THE USER CREATED MAIL FOLDER NAMED "DAVID", IN ORDER
TO MOVE IT FROM SENT FOLDER TO DAVID FOLDER.
IT IS ABSURD TO HAVE SUCH AN AUTOMATED PROGRAM AND NOT BE ABLE TO DO THIS.
THIS IS A MUST...AS IT SAVES COUNTLESS HOURS OF MANUAL MOVING OF MAILS FOR
FILING

There's an option to copy a sent mail item to a folder upon sending. Turn
off the automatic saving to the Sent Items folder and use rules to do all of
your sent mail item movement.

Thank you for your reply,,, BUT,,,,
Before I sent this request, I spent a lot of time looking for a solution and
this is not a solution... A COPY STILL LEAVES A NEED FOR ACTION TO DELETE THE
ONE LEFT IN SENT ITEMS FOLDER.... and there is "again", no rule option
referring to a user created folder... thank you ,, anyway

That's why I mentioned turning off the automatic saving to the Sent Items
folder. You then create all the rules you want to move sent items around
finishing up with a rule that moves anything else sent to the Sent Items
folder

I will try it and advise,,,
I am worried that those that are not marked in rules as move to folder x,,
will not leave a copy in the sent folder , if to someone else; but, if it
works,,, great...
I will advise results,,
Thank you again,,

I have tried it and apparently does not work...
I have removed the mark from setup for save copy in sent items
I have then tried it by both, "copy to folder" and "move to folder"
The result on both is the same,,, the sent mail is lost...
I have tried Find to see if it went somewhere else and it is definitelly not
in any of my mail folders.

You need one rule at the end with no conditions and whose only action is to
move a copy to the Sent Items folder. All preceeding tules should have the
"stop processing more rules" action.

I experienced similar bugs with the "After Sending" rules. I don't remember
why some rules worked and some didn't... and you shouldn't need a Rocket
Science degree to figure it out. I simply resorted to programming my own
"rules" in the SentItems_ItemAdd event in VBA Macro project.

I appreciate your reply,,,,
I do not know, however, if we are talking about the same.
My object is to not end up with a copy in sent mail, but rather have the
sent mail moved to a specific user created mail folder.
The suggestion to uncheck the save copy in sent folder does leave a copy,
but when removed, then the copy or move does not act on anything related to
the sent, which is non-existent.
I believe that the whole issue, or what I intended, was more generic than
this individual problem issue; meaning that what I really need is an option
in rules CONDITIONS such as "where message is in specified folder" ; this
would address anything that I want to do to sent items folders, individual
folders, etc. without having to go to different workaround steps that are
always related to a condition referring to do something to mail in a folder.

FINALLY,,,, i have been able to make your suggestion work,,, BUT
DEFINITELLY,,, it is all a workaround for the NEED FOR A CONDITION "where as
message is in specified folder"; it would resolve this problem and many,
many others in need of the folder condition.
Your suggestion works,, but,,, although the copy is moved and unchecking the
save copy resolves the mail not being left in sent items,,,, you now have a
message moved where you want it, BUT,,,, now you have a highlighted UNREAD
MESSAGE and there is no option for "mark as read" in a rule after send. It
does have "mark as read" in after message arrives, but then it does not work
on sent items.
CONCLUSION,,, OUTLOOK IS VERY MUCH IN NEED OF A "WHERE IN FOLDER" RULE.
Thank you,,,, anyway for your effort

CONCLUSION,,, OUTLOOK IS VERY MUCH IN NEED OF A "WHERE IN FOLDER" RULE.

Outlook is very much in need of a complete overhaul of its "Rules" feature.
This part of Outlook has not been improved upon nor changed since 1998.
Since not many everyday users use it, it's been relegated to the backburner.
But, maybe if it was more useful and better designed, people would use it to
tame their folders.

I believe we are.

Of course, but you seems to be complaining that if a message didn't match
one of your rules that woul would not get a copy saved in the Sent Items
folder if that option were disabled (i.e., you said "the sent mail is
lost"). What I'm suggesting augments your rules that move messages to other
folders with one final, catch-all rule that retains a copy of sent mail if
it doesn't match any other rule. My suggestion seems to address your worry.
