Unfortuneately the 32k rule limit has created a bit of a problem for me ...
I'd like to use a rule to automatically set the category of a mail based on
who the sender is.
It is possible to do this for specific named people using the "from people
or distribution list" condition, if I choose the people individually. This
works up to a point, until I hit the rule size limit.
However, using the same kind of rule condition to pick a distribution list
that contains the set of people I want to detect does not work. i.e. in my
head I was expecting it to internally expand the distribution list and check
if the sender was any one of those people ... this doesn't appear to be how
it works though. Any suggestions?
I can kind of get something similar to work by setting up a contacts
sub-folder, and using the "sender is in specified Address Book" condition,
but dealing with these contacts so explicitly is somewhat high maintenance.
Thanks in advance ...
