outlook rules cann't automatically work

hi, all

my outlook release is 2007.it works well till now i uninstall it and setup
again. i found that the rules i defined cann't work automatically. i shd
manully choose " run rules now" .i am confused abt its prbs.

Which mail account type are you using?
When did it last work and what changed since then?
Locate your srs-file and rename it to .old to reset your send/receive
settings.

my mail account is POP3 account.(*@gmail.com).

it works well till i upgrade it from 2007 to 2010 beta, after that i
uninstalled the 2010 beta then back to the 2007, the prbs occured. i have
cleared all the rules and recreate the rules, while it doesn't work
automatically. after i received the mails, i shd manully run the rules.

i have tried the solution as u refered to ,like rebuild .srs files .while
the prbs still exist.

can u give me a further guide?

Downgrading from a BETA can give all sorts of issues; some of them even
irreversible which is why you should always use BETA versions in a testing
environment and never in a production environment or with production data.

That said, locate your extend.dat and outcmd.dat file and rename them to
..old and recreate your mail profile as per;
