Hello,
I have setup various rules in outlook that will move incoming mail to
various folders. It seems that if two or more rules processes the same
incoming mail, that mail is duplicated.
For instance, i have a rule that looks the FROM field and if it is say
"(e-mail address removed)", i move it to folder Test. I also have a another
rule that looks in the subject for "Foo Bar" and move these mail to the
same folder named Test.
if now an incoming mail comes in from "(e-mail address removed)" and the
subject is "Foo Bar blah blah", that mail will end up in folder Test
twice.
how can i avoid this? I know i can use "stop processing rules", but
that means all my other rules will not process as well. ANother way
might be if i combine the two rules into one, but i am not sure how to
"OR" the two rules. if i try combining them, it will only match if
BOTH conditions are met (i.e. only if the name and subject match the
conditions).
please advise.
