Outlook Rules Not Firing with Domino Connector

Using the Domino Connector with Outlook 2003 connecting to a Notes
store. With the actual Notes "fat client", I created a folder for mail
messages, this folder appears in the folder hierarchy in Outlook.

I created several rules in Outlook to move mail from the Inbox to this
new folder upon receipt. None of the rules fire, so I end up running
the rule manually. This is not really what I want to do. How can I make
sure the rules fire automatically/properly? Manually running the rules
works fine, and I can successfully copy/move things in and out of the
folder.
