We have several users who are complaining about some strange behavior of
outlook rules. We'll have a rule come in that is supposed to go to a folder
and it will go to the wrong folder. In some cases, copies of the e-mail will
end up going to 4 or 5 different folders, none of which are part of any rules.
We have tried opening outlook using /cleanrules.
We have uninstalled Office, and used the "Office Cleanup Tool" to remove
remnants of office, then reinstalled office and the problem was the same.
We ran mfcmapi.exe to check for corrupt rules, and found nothing.
I'm wondering if anyone has some suggestions on what else to try?
