Outlook Rules

Currently I have a rule which moves all emails that have
attachments to another folder. This means my Inbox is a
sensible size when it comes to sychronising over a
dialup. The drawback is I miss seeing some emsils that
have been sent.

Is there a way to leave a copy of the email arriving which
has an attachment in my Inbox with the attachment removed ?

This way I get to see 100% of my emails with minimum
download time.

If I do need to get the attachment I can specifically
select later.

Thanks in advance, Shaun.

Shaun,

If you use Extended MAPI, you can create a copy of the email, delete all the
MAPI properties related to the attachment(s)
and save this copy in the inbox folder.
