Outlook screen flickers and jumps

Outlook 2003 flickers and is jumpy, especially the Inbox window. It happens
most all the time, when no mail is being transmitted or anything else going
on. This is on a fairly new Dell notebook with Win XP, Intel integrated
video
driver, Core Duo processor and with everything updated, to my knowledge.

Not sure, but it seems to have started with a Microsoft update a few weeks
ago.

Any help or comments would be much appreciated.

Thanks, Bob

Have you had a resolution for this problem?? I'm having the same issue with
the same hardware/software. (In addition to the Outlook Inbox window, my
screen flickers in Quicken and Windows standard games such as Free Cell and
Hearts.) I've contacted Dell technical support and they have not been able
to help me. The troubleshooting has included updating the video drivers,
BIOS update, changing display settings, and a system restore - none of which
have worked. The last-resort suggestion they have for me is to revert my
notebook back to its at-purchase installation state. I haven't done this
yet, and am hoping to avoid it if another solution has been found.
