outlook screwup (mine)

I have no idea how I did this, but I have it now set with
a password .pst (password I did not forget), but now when
I open outlook, I may or may not get my email, or one
that were there last time are gone. I want to go back to
plain old outlook, no psts. How?

Where were you storing your mail previously? Was it on an Exchange Server in
a mailbox or an IMAP mailbox? Otherwise you probably were using a PST but
not aware of it. Might you have multiple PSTs on your machine now? Check
your hard drive for files ending in .PST (make sure you check in hidden or
system folders also)

Absolutely, multiple .pst files....how do I go back to
plain old simple one file? And BTW... I appreciate your
help
