Outlook XP is loaded on a computer with Windows XP, and is set up with 4
seperate Outlook profiles on one computer. The email connects to an exchange
server. When you open Outlook, it asks which profile you want to connect to,
and then asks for a username and password. If you unplug the network cable
and open Outlook, it asks you which profile you want to connect to, and then
opens that mailbox. In the Advanced settings, cached Exchange mode was
checked, and this could be bypassed without unplugging the network cable.
The computer has a time clock program installed on it that people use to log
in and out, so there can only be one Windows profile for each user. Is there
a way to prevent this from happening? Can you use Outlook and keep it
secure, or are the only options to use Outlook Web Access or seperate Windows
XP profiles?
Thank you for any suggestions.
