I have read for about an hour on the Outlook Security Popup Box in the
community forums and several articles posted on a technical site I visit
www.experts-exchange.
I am having the problem of an Outlook Security Popup Box on a machine that
is running Outlook 2002 with the latest security patches and Microsoft's
active sync...yes also the most recent version 3.8. I have setup a PDA phone
using active sync on this machine and it sync with Outlook the Contacts,
Calendar and Tasks. Everytime it tries to sync I get the Security Popup Box
that say "A program is tyring access ....." and it gives a turn of feature
that allows for only 1 min...2min..up to 10.
Ok....these are both Microsoft products and I know what program is trying to
access Outlook....so where can I setup within Outlook or the registry that
will allow this specific communication without a popup box.
I know of the free utilities that click ok for you...but that is a pretty
horrible solution from many different angles. I am really hoping that this
isnt one of those ....thats that way it is type of things. If anyone has any
advice.....I would sincerely appreciate it.
