I pulled something I read from another site:
lost e-mails, I found out that your account's e-mails are previously set up
to go directly to Outlook. I have engaged additional resources to help
retrieve your e-mail. Since we tried to recover all deleted messages, there
may be messages that you have purposely deleted before that may be included
in the restoration.
For your information:
E-mail clients such as Outlook has an “archiving†feature. This feature
moves your messages from the Windows Live Hotmail e-mail server to your hard
disk. The Windows Live Hotmail server may be unable to recover the messages
you have downloaded from it as they are now stored in your Outlook. Once
downloaded, the e-mail messages will no longer show up on the Windows Live
Hotmail Web interface. For more information on viewing your messages using
your e-mail client, please contact Outlook’s support team.
Okay, here I am at Outlook's support area, and I would like to know if this
information is, first all, true. Secondly, is there a way to transfer all the
e-mails in Outlook BACK to my @live.com account. Reason being is that I have
information contained in those e-mails that I need to access from locations
other than my home comptuer. Outlook has totally lost cool points.
Suggestion: Outlook should ask questions when setting up an account from POP
or whatever that tells the user exactly what Outlook is going to do with
his/her e-mail.
