Hello,
I have a access database which I want to, on open of the database,
email reminders etc, to various people within the company when their
work items are over due etc.
This all seems to be working ok, with the exception of the following
two issues;
1 - A security message box appears asking the current user to confirm
that they are happy to send the email. - I've seen this issue raised a
couple of times, and I'm happy to investigate the 'Force Click Yes'
option.
2 - The real problem I have is that the email will be sent from the
current users outlook address. We have a group mailbox setup within
outlook, is there anyway I can force the email to be sent from the
group mailbox's outlook address, or from a selected persons email
address.
I understand that I could check the current user on load of the
database, and only initiate the routine if the user matches a list of
names, but there is no guarantee that at least one of these users will
enter the database on every single working day.
Any suggestions or solutions would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance,
Leticia.
