Outlook send receive errors

Hi,
I am using Office Small Bus 2003 and my problem is with Outlook 2003.

Today, I downloaded the latest updates from MS. Since the download, Outlook
cannot send and receive. When I open Outlook and test the account settings,
the program cannot 'connect to the incoming mail server'. Yet, if I do not
open Outlook and simply go to Outlook Properties from the desktop icon, the
account settings test perfectly. All the mail settings are correct. I can
access the internet without issue. I can access my emails via web mail
without issue. The problem lies within the Outlook program.

Any suggestions?

Which mail account type are you using?
If you have a virus scanner that integrates with Outlook, disable this
integration and try again.
