Outlook send/receive question

Please help!
My knowledge of Microsoft outlook is basic. Here's what I did. I ha
the Office 2003 and upgraded to Outlook 2010 beta. Just bought a ne
laptop running Windows 7 home edition. I set up my comcast email accoun
in outlook 2010 leaving messages on the server then downloaded all m
messages (send/receive)... something around 6000 messages. Then
realized a lot of the messages are not showing!?mainly from 3-4 week
ago and a lot others were sent to the junk email. So I deleted all th
messages and emptied the recycle then uninstalled the office 10 beta an
reinstalled it and set the junk folder to be at the very minimu
detection. Interestingly, when I reinstalled office my comcast accoun
was all still set! and when I tried to resend/receive nothing loaded.
went to the comcast account and found that all my messages were stil
there on the server. So what I am trying to do now is reload all thes
messages in outlook but can't seem to be able to.
I am sure this may be a very silly and simple thing but not for me!
Thanks very much for your help

You do know what BETA software is? You should NEVER use BETA software on a
"live" system.

Reinstalling won't help you with this as it is a configuration setting.
If you want to redownload all the emails, at this point it would be easiest
to remove you Comcast account from your account settings, restart Outlook
and then add it again;
File-> section Info-> Account Settings-> Account Settings...
