Outlook send the same eMail 100 times. Why?

Occasionally it occurs that my Outlook 2003 send one eMail approx 100 times
although I clicked only once on the menu "send".

What could be the reason ?

Is there an option "Re-send eMail when no acknowledgement is returned from sender"
or something similar?

1) Make sure you are NOT scanning mail with an antivirus scanner, especially
outbound mail. 2) Increase the server timeout value on the Advanced tab of
your account properties. 3) Increase the send/receive interval on the
Send/Receive Groups dialogue.

I think it might be a good idea to update and run your anti-spyware
application!
