We use a ineternet proxy with authentication that uses Active directory.
Internet works fine as far as authentication goes, not challenges. When we
use Outlook 2003(does not matter what SP) and Exhchange 2003 on an internal
LAN/WAN, and the email contains pictures that outlook has to retrieve from
the internet, the proxy challenge comes up and wants to be authenticated. We
have found that if we open a browser first and then go to the email message
we can see the pictures. Is there a registry setting or something that we can
change to have outlook authenticate the same way IE does, using the computers
creditials for the proxy server? Thanks
