Outlook sending spam on it's own

Hello,

I'm using Outlook 2003 and now it looks like my machine has been hijacked.
Yesterday it started sending spam messages on its own which was indicated by
a Mcafee message "a message is being sent that has the same subject as prior
message" with the option to stop or continue the send. This message
continued to present itself. These are messages I did not originated.

I ran a virus scan and I ran SpyBot but nothing showed up. How do I rid
myself of this thing?
