Outlook sending to emails with hyphens

I have one email address that for some reason does not want to send and
continually asks me to verify the email address. The email address is
(e-mail address removed) ; I have other emails with hyphens in the address and
these send fine. I have validated the email address and it is correct and
the it logs onto the POP3 server fine. It just aways asks me to verify my
email address which is correct. I have deleted this account and created a
new one and still it causes the same problem. Any help greatly appreciated.

Open your Account properties pages and click the Outgoing Server tab. Put a
check mark in the "My outgoing server requires authentication" box.
