Outlook sendobject

Phil

I have just had my computer changed and the operating system was NT 2000 and
is now XP Pro, running A2000 the database i originally had has not been
changed at all. i have a database that uses sendobject to send emails to
confirm bookings when i tried this for the first time on my new computer it
asked for email settings even though i am on a network and everything works,
the email opened in Outlook express not outlook and would not send as we use
internal names i.e. without the @Etc.co.uk is there a way to force it to open
Outlook

thanks for any help

Phil:

Your SendObject call opened Outlook Express because your default mail
program is set to this program. If you open Internet Explorer and select
Internet Options from the Tools menu (I believe Internet Options is also
available in the Control Panel, although I am not running XP), click the
Programs tab, you can change the default mail program to Outlook. You may
have to reboot your computer to have the setting take effect.
